WAS automates raw and finished material storage and retrieval in a customizable number of tower storage units. WAS can connect to multiple punch presses and is an ideal solution for lights-out, high-volume production. In sheet size of 120” x 60” handling materials up to 0.157”; 160” x 80” handling materials up to 0.14”. Available for Strippit PX with Flexible Automation (FA-P).
Features
- Custom number of towers (minimum of four) in single or double row configuration; maximum capacity for input/output pallets is 3 or 5 tons with a stacking height of up to 3.5”.
- Peeling system guarantees efficient transfer of raw materials and finished parts, sorting position, and smooth return to the warehouse with sorted/stacked parts from the FA-P pallet transfer.
- Pallet transfer unit efficiently moves pallets in and out of the towers. Laser measurement ensures pallets are correctly placed.
