Messer Bevel Cutting Oxyfuel

Bevel Cutting Oxyfuel

Three Position Oxyfuel Bevel Cutting Unit

Manual Rotation with Three Positions (X- or Y-Axis)

Features

The Three Position Triple Torch Oxyfuel Bevel Unit provides weld preparation edges and plate squaring in a single pass. Cutting a “V”, “Y”, or “K” cross section in one pass, the manually adjusted Triple Torch Oxyfuel Unit is designed to make a straight line bevel cut. It can cut in the longitudinal (X) axis or be used to bevel cut the ends of a plate (+j- Y) by manually rotating the unit +/- 90°. Height sensing is achieved by an electromechanical device that rides on the plate.

Triple Torch Contour Bevel Unit For Oxyfuel Contour Bevel Cuts

The Oxyfuel Triple Torch Contour Bevel Unit provides continuous bevel cuts in mild steel with automatic contour control, manual ignition and bevel angle adjustment. It cuts top and bottom bevels in a single pass. Electro/mechanical height sensing maintains proper stand-off, which results in accurate bevel cuts. The Z-Axis utilizes a motorized lifter slide for easy extension and retraction when moving from one part to the next. Cutting is fully controlled by Messer’s Global Control, easy-to-use touch screen control with a familiar Windows® style interface.

Triple Torch Unit D/AFL:

  • Bevel cuts up to 3″ (80 mm) plate thickness
  • Straight cuts up to 4.5″ (120 mm) plate thickness
  • Angle adjustment motorized, CNC or manual 15 – 60°
  • Lateral adjustment motorized, CNC or manual maximum 1.7″ (45 mm)
  • Stroke 9.8″ (250 mm)

Single Position Oxyfuel Bevel Cutting Unit

Manually adjusted Single Position Triple Torch Oxyfuel Bevel Unit for straight line bevels with manual ignition and gas adjustment. Bevels can be cut in the X axis only. Cutting a “V”, “Y”, or “K” cross section in one pass, the manually adjusted Triple Torch Oxyfuel Unit is designed to make a bevel cut in the longitudinal (X) axis. Height sensing is achieved by an electromechanical device that rides on the plate.
